| Admin/Biograhical History | The firm of David Thomson of Edinburgh was founded in 1870. He manufactured bakery equipment and eventually became incorporated under the title David Thomson Ltd. In 1922 Joseph Baker Sons & Perkins Ltd purchased the company and the office staff were moved to Peterborough. After a few years, part of the plant was transported south also. |
